Rio Ferdinand has stepped up his bid to become a world renowned boxer by calling out former world champion David Haye.

Zlatan’s impact on Man Utd is comparable to Eric Cantona’s, claims club legend

The Manchester United legend has been retired from football since 2015 and says he now wants to follow in the footsteps of UFC star Conor McGregor.

The Irishman is currently agitating for a boxing fight with Floyd Mayweather despite never having competing in the combat sport.

McGregor is a UFC champion, but has set his sights on becoming a star in the boxing world.

Ferdinand has shown off his boxing skills in the past and wants the money fight with Haye.

The 38-year-old’s video shows him getting in a mock fight with his trainer and adopting what we can only assume is his best McGregor fight stance.

Ferdinand has previously issued warnings to Tony Bellew and Anthony Joshua. Because why not.

So, who wants to see Ferdinand get knocked out by a heavyweight boxer?
