Just days after she denied she showed sexually explicit images of her ex, Alex Reid, to fans, it’s been claimed Katie Price vowed to ‘destroy’ her former husband in a recording that resurfaced from October.

It’s been reported by The Sun the Loose Women panelist was recorded making the threat at her book launch last year, saying she believed Alex should ‘shut the f*ck up’.

She allegedly said: ‘He must be obsessed with me. I feel sorry for his girlfriend. He must be so obsessed with me and he doesn’t like the fact that I keep saying I could destroy him in seconds and I literally could if you know what I mean.’

She continued: ‘Yeah, carry on Alex and I’ll f***ing screw you up is all I’m saying.

‘I don’t know why he’s piping on. I think he’s still in love with me. But he’s got no money; I suppose I’m his income.’

Sources at the launch of the book Playing With Fire alleged Katie shared photos of Alex dressed in drag ‘in a variety of different positions’.

It comes as others alleged Katie showed them images during her stint on Celebrity Big Brother Bit On The Side earlier this year – something which the police are reportedly investigating.

Herts police told Metro.co.uk: ‘Officers are investigating an allegation of harassment through the disclosure of a private act, which is reported to have occurred at Elstree Film Studios in Borehamwood between 10.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday, January 9. ”Enquiries are on-going and it would be inappropriate to comment any further at this stage.’

After the news broke, Alex confirmed to The Sun he was taking legal action.

He said: ‘I am very upset that such private matters are once again being aired in the press.

‘I am taking legal action against Katie Price over her actions and I will not be commenting publicly any further.’

However, Katie denied any action was taken as she disputed the presence of the images and that she revealed them to others at the CBB taping.

Last week the mum-of-five tweeted to her 2.19 million followers: ‘I would like to make the following clear: 1. I do not have any videos of Alex Reid or Roxanne on my phone.

‘2. I do not have any sexual images of Alex Reid or Roxanne on my phone.

‘3. I did not show TV audience members a video of Alex or Roxanne engaged in sexual activity, nor would I.

‘4. I have not had any contact from the police but if I get such I will cooperate fully to show them this allegation is a lie.

‘5. I have made clear I would never reveal tapes of Alex Reid or Roxanne.

‘6. I take online bullying and revenge porn seriously. My family have been subjected to such and I have been the victim of revenge porn. I would not do it to someone else.

‘7. It is sad that my attempting to push through help for those bullied online is used by someone to suggest that I have behaved in this way or to get publicity for themselves.’
