Filming has officially begun on the new Prince Harry and Meghan Markle biopic film, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.

The film – being made for Lifetime – is set to explore the love affair that has captured the hearts of the world, as it was revealed last year that Prince Harry would be marrying his love, US actor Meghan Markle.

On location in Vancouver, Canada, Murray Fraser (Harry) and Parisa Fitz-Henley (Meghan) looked the spitting image of the royal couple as they prepared to film their first scenes.

Dressed in a warm black puff jacket, Parisia looked the part with straightened hair and a flowing red dress.

Meanwhile, Murray looked sharp and dapper as he prepared to film his scenes, sporting Harry’s trademark ginger beard and wearing a sharp suit underneath a red overcoat.

The real royal couple will tie the knot at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19, with the eyes of the world on them.

And football fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as Kensington Palace has revealed the timing of the wedding will not clash with the 2018 FA Cup Final.

The wedding service will begin at midday – meaning that a clash is very unlikely as recent finals have kicked off at 5.30pm.

The palace said the couple are ‘hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement’, adding: ‘They are very much looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public.’

It was also confirmed that Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will marry the couple as they take their vows.
