Scrubs star Zach Braff may not have been seen as his bumbling doctor JD for over a decade – but it’s an image that will seemingly last forever.
The actor, who starred in the hit hospital comedy for ten years and still regularly hangs out with his former co-stars, discovered that his image and character were being used to advertise a brand of medicine.
Although the poster he tweeted, believed to be in Russia, is advertised as ‘medical equipment’, one fan told him on Twitter it was selling ‘erection pills’.
One user even joked to the comedian, saying: ‘We love you here, in Russia. Even if your penis doesn’t work anymore (the ad is for curing male distinction) (sic).’
It’s not the first time Zach’s likeness has been used. as less than a week ago, he tweeted a poster from Russia in which he is advertising computer repairs.
Fans were utterly delighted when 41-year-old Braff did a live Q&A for his upcoming film Going In Style, and picked up on one fan’s question regarding the sitcom.
Mario Leitner tweeted in asking whether the actor would ever consider making more episodes of Scrubs, to which the star responded: ‘You never know, it’s something we all talk about.
‘Especially now that all these people are going back and doing Netflix versions of their shows.
‘I’m very jealous of all this Gilmore Girls attention, and Full House, so we talk about it every now and then. So you never know. It could happen. I’d do it.’
That’s if he’s not too busy ‘moonlighting’ in other countries…
