YouTube queen Zoella (real name Zoe Sugg) has been named as the most powerful social media star in Britain, after amassing a staggering 11.6 million YouTube subscribers and 10.5 million followers on Instagram.
The YouTube star, 26, began her career by filming a series of make-up tutorials in her bedroom in 2009 but now social media research channel Fizziology has now ranked Sugg as the most influential star, taking into account her social reach and engagement, along with her cultural, political and social influence.
She was closely followed by rapper and comedian KSI and Joe Sugg, her 25-year-old brother.
