Those patiently waiting through the adverts to see the newly ravamped, terrifying IT can now get boozy while doing so, as you can now buy popcorn made with actual alcohol.

Joe and Seph’s, a gourmet popcorn company and brand behind the UK’s first G&T popcorn, now stock various alcoholic beverage-inspired popcorns for movie fanatics who are getting bored of the regular sweet or salted (or even a mix of both, for that matter).

The gourmet snack retailers have launched an entire range of cocktail-inspired popcorn pouches, which each have an ABV of 5 percent.

Alongside the G&T popcorn, as mentioned above, you can get your hands on Caramel, Macchiato and Whiskey popcorn, Mojito popcorn, Cosmopolitan popcorn and even Margarita popcorn.

Due to it containing caramel, we’re betting the whiskey-inspired snack will be the best choice for those with a sweet tooth.

Each pouch, which contains 80g of popcorn, costs £4.

Sure, it’s sadly just as expensive as cinema prices – but hey, at least with this deal you get a drink and a snack all in one, right?

And, if it makes you feel even better, if you buy five bags of popcorn, you’ll get one free.

But that’s still £20 for 400g popcorn, which is pretty damn steep.

Regardless, we’d be willing to part with a little bit of money just to try some cocktail-inspired popcorn – which will definitely be paired best with an actual cocktail, of course.
