Tom Cruise was seemingly left injured during a building jumping stunt for Mission Impossible 6.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the actor is seen attached to a rigging and jumping off a scaffolding towards an opposite building.

However the 55-year-old appears to come up short on the landing and hits the side of the building.

When he climbs up he can been seen limping across the roof of the building before stumbling. He then heads back to the first building, with a noticeable limp, before crew members move him away to safety. The extent of his injuries are currently unclear.

Tom’s publicists have been contacted for comment.

Tom is known for performing his own spectacular stunts, and his M:I 6 stunt is tipped to ‘top anything that’s come before’.

M:I 6 is being directed by script writer Christopher McQuarrie, who has previously worked with Tom on movies Jack Reacher, Edge Of Tomorrow and Valkyrie, and Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson will both reprise their roles from Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation as Alan Hunley and Ilsa Faust respectively.

Superman himself Henry Cavill has also signed on in an unnamed role although we reckon he’ll probably be replacing Jeremy Renner’s departing William Brandt.
