One of the most prestigious snooker tournaments in the world begins this weekend as The Masters gets underway at the Alexandra Palace, London.
It may be a non-ranking event, but The Masters is one of the fabled Triple Crown, alongside the World and UK Championships.
The prize money has also rocketed in recent years, with the champion now taking home £200,000 for winning just four matches – not a bad week’s work.
World number two and reigning champion Ronnie O’Sullivan goes into the tournament as favourite, but with 16 of the top players on the planet on display, The Rocket will not have it easy.
