Everyone on the internet is currently relating to one super cool mum after her daughter posted pictures of her posing ready for a Saturday night out against the repercussions that came on Sunday morning.
18-year-old Brooke shared a photo of her mum, Donna, all dolled up ready for a night out at a Lady Gaga tribute night at her local pub.
Brooke told Metro.co.uk: She loves getting her photo taken before she goes out all dressed up and she loves it, she said to me: “I hope I get 100 likes by the end of the night!”‘
But little did Donna know that she would actually end up going viral – though it wasn’t just the photo of her on Saturday night pulling in the likes.
Alongside the dressed-up photo, Brooke shared a photo of Donna the following morning after a heavy night out – complete with dressing gown, no makeup, messy hair and glasses.
Brooke captioned the photos: ‘Saturday night vs. Sunday morning’
The photos went viral with more than 5,000 retweets and 26,000 likes – and a whole load of feedback from people who could relate.
Many people compared the images to themselves before and after a night out

And Brooke made things even more relatable by sharing another photo of her mother on Sunday afternoon
Brooke says that Donna isn’t at all mad that the hungover photos were shared. She said: ‘She’s just glad she can make so many people laugh at the state she wakes up in after a night at the pub!
‘She thinks it’s hilarious she doesn’t know who she feels more sorry for, William, her husband, having to wake up next to that or myself and my sisters as that’s what we’ll look like in 20 or so years!’
She continued: ‘I’m always uploading funny pictures or videos of her on my social media and she’s totally fine with it, she has a bit of a reputation with my friends as being a “cool mum”.’
And we’ve got to agree with those friends – Donna sure is one hell of a cool mum.
And one who knows how to totally own it on a Saturday night, at that.
