Arsenal reject Serge Gnabry showed his old club are still very much close to his heart as he enjoyed their FA Cup win over Sutton.

Manchester United star makes surprise return to training ahead of EFL Cup final

The Germany international, who left the Emirates Stadium for a summer switch to Werder Bremen at the beginning of the season, trolled Sutton goalkeeper Wayne Shaw with a tweet this afternoon.

Gnabry’s fine form since leaving Arsenal has prompted some talk that they could try to re-sign him in the future, and he’s clearly still a Gooner at heart as he captioned a picture of Shaw eating his now-controversial pie on the bench.

‘The moment you realize you can’t beat Arsenal #COYG’ the 21-year-old said.

Gnabry spent five years at Arsenal before returning to Germany, and has caught the eye with eight goals and one assist so far this season.
