Gary Neville slammed Sead Kolasinac for his ‘irresponsbile’ defending in Arsenal’s 4-3 win against Leicester City on Friday night.
The Bosnian international was starting at left centre-back in a back three for the Gunners as they hosted the Foxes.
Arsene Wenger’s men completed a sensational comeback when Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey scored in the dying stages but they looked vulnerable in defence all night.
Kolasinac impressed going forward but was caught napping for Shinji Okazaki’s equaliser and Neville says Kolasinac was to blame.
‘I have to say, their new centre-back, it’s so irresponsible what he does,’ Neville told Sky Sports.
‘He is there at that back post, he drifts forward, I have no idea what he is doing.
‘He drifts forward and leaves a massive void for the rest of his team to cover, and they can’t cover it. It’s poor from him.’
Wenger will be relieved that his side managed to turn it around at the death, especially given the Gunners face trips to Stoke and Liverpool in their next two matches.
The Gunners were without Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny against the Foxes and Rob Holding struggled in a makeshift defence.
