Premier League – LIVE: Follow all the latest action as Chelsea take on Burnley and Everton face Stoke

The Premier League is back! And with plenty of goals!

Arsenal and Leicester City played out a thrilling game to kick the new season off on Friday night as Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud scored in the last eight minutes to turn a 3-2 defeat into a 4-3 victory.

The 3pm Saturday kick-offs signal the start of champions Chelsea’s title defence at home to Burnley, who have lost a number of their star players from last season, while the Blues have bolstered their squad with the arrival of Alvaro Morata.

Elsewhere, Wayne Rooney will get his first taste of Premier League football in an Everton shirt for 13 years when the Toffees host Stoke at Goodison Park.

Huddersfield start their first-ever Premier League campaign away to Crystal Palace as Southampton face Swansea and West Brom take on Bournemouth in the rest of the 3 o’clocks.

Klopp reacts

This is what the Liverpool manager had to say after the Reds’ 3-3 draw against Watford in today’s lunchtime kick-off:
“We were unlucky in the end. The equaliser was offside. It’s obvious because the linesman is on the line. He needs to see it.
“Watford’s first goal was a good cross and a good run. That’s just good. Well done really. The first half I wasn’t too happy with.
“We passed but couldn’t see what we actually wanted. The second half was a lot better. We forgot to close the game. We defended a little deep. We have to push up. Both teams struggled with 90 minutes, it’s the first game. That’s normal.
“I cannot change it [the late goal]. We would have had defensive areas we need to work on if we’d won 3-2. We were the better team, we should have won.”
