Police have launched an investigation after a teenager fell to her death from the top of a multi-storey car park.
The 19-year-old was found in Bull Lane, Gloucester, after falling from the top of the seven-storey lot in Longsmith street.
Officers closed the road and the car park for a full investigation this morning.
They said there were no suspicious circumstances, but the death was being treated as unexplained.
A single posy of yellow flowers had been left against the car park wall this afternoon.
A Gloucestershire police spokesman said: ‘You may have seen we closed off an area around Longsmith Street car park in Gloucester early this morning.
‘Sadly this was following the death of a 19-year-old Gloucester woman who fell from one of the upper floors of the car park in the early hours.
‘Her death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and her next of kin and family have been informed.
‘We will now be continuing enquiries on behalf of the coroner.’
