O.J. Simpson could be released from prison as early as this year after serving just nine years or a 33-year sentence for kidnapping, robbery and assault.
The 69-year-old could be released on parole because of good behaviour and by doing so access his reported £2.1million NFL pension, reports the Express.
The former football player turned actor was jailed in 2008 after being convicted for the robbery of memorabilia dealers Alfred Beardsley and Bruce Fromong.
He has served nine year at Lovelock Correction center in Nevada, where he successfully achieved parole on five of his 12 charges in 2013.
The heist came less than a decade after he was acquitted of the murder of ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
