Manchester United and Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko admits he couldn’t reject a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The Frenchman has emerged as one of the most promising midfielders in Europe over the last 12 months and there’s been strong interest from the Premier League.
The 22-year-old has been compared to Patrick Vieira for his dominant displays in midfield and he’s expected to start in Monaco’s Champions League tie with Manchester City at the Etihad tonight.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United are expected to move for the midfielder this summer but Bakayoko has admitted he would struggle to turn down Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
‘I had a trial in an international tournament in Nimes and we played against Arsenal,’ revealed Bakayoko.
‘The opportunity to sign for PSG’s youth academy presented itself after Montrogue. But my dad and my brother chose Rennes, the best youth academy at the time.
‘Not going to PSG hurt me, I even had tears in my eyes.
‘If the opportunity presents itself, I will not refuse a move to PSG. But I am only 22 and I feel very good at Monaco.’
