Marcus Rashford made a major impression with his England teammates during the international break, according to reports.
The 19-year-old started both of England’s games against Slovenia and Lithuania as Gareth Southgate’s side booked their place at next summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Rashford has been part of England’s senior squad for well over a year now but the Manchester United forward is still managing to impress his teammates.
Manchester Evening News reports that the striker gained plenty of admirers following his performances in the two World Cup qualifiers.
But most notable were the rave reviews he received from teammates who play for United’s title rivals.
Rashford is now back in training with United ahead of Saturday’s clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
Jose Mourinho’s side are level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, although Pep Guardiola’s side are ahead on goal difference.
Rashford, meanwhile, has made an impressive start to the campaign with five goals and three assists in 10 games so far.
