Liverpool are keeping tabs on West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The Sun claim that the 24-year-old is on Jurgen Klopp’s radar after impressing the German with his performances for the Hammers this season.

Liverpool are looking to strengthen their options in defensive midfield but the report claims that a bid of £18 million would be needed to lure Obiang away from West Ham.

Obiang, who was signed from Sampdoria in the summer of 2015, still has two years remaining on his current contract with West Ham, and the club are looking to extend his deal.
