Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has been ruled out of tonight’s clash with Leicester City with a foot injury.
The England midfielder sustained the injury in training over the weekend and will miss the Reds’ game at the KingPower stadium.
Henderson feared a much greater injury lay-off after sustaining the hit but he’s also expected to miss next week’s game against Arsenal at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are entering a crucial period with key matches against Everton, Manchester City and the Gunners in the next month.
Henderson’s made 28 appearances for the Reds this term and Germany international Emre Can is likely to replace the former Sunderland man against the Foxes.
Klopp took his side on a team-bonding trip to La Manga as the Reds had been knocked out of the FA Cup.
Elsewhere, Daniel Sturridge is a doubt for the clash after struggling with a virus in recent days while Dejan Lovren is 50/50 with a knee injury.
