Harry Styles has already seen an edit of upcoming BBC show Harry Styles at the BBC, and thinks it’s ‘fantastic’.
Nick Grimshaw, Radio 1 DJ and Harry’s long-time pal, told Metro.co.uk the news on the red carpet at the Attitude Awards at Camden’s Roundhouse.
‘I’ve not seen it, Harry’s seen it and he really likes the show,’ Nick revealed as he made his way in (late) to the annual ceremony.
‘He thinks it’s fantastic.’
Rather than treating filming like another day in the office, Harry’s best mate Grimmy explained to us that Harry ‘never really gets time off’ – so one of the driving forces of filming the show was to – ironically – give him a break.
‘We had a good day out hanging out,’ Grimmy revealed.
Swerving the sea of fans that follow the One Direction star everywhere, the DJ said he took him ‘somewhere where no one really cared about him – it’s funny,’ although he wouldn’t unveil the exact Manchester locations the duo visited.
Ever the supportive friend, Nick explained that it was important to take Harry away from the pandemonium: ‘Everywhere you go everyone’s normally like Harry Styles Harry Styles!’.
Sounds like thoughtful Grimmy’s a keeper.
Harry Styles at the BBC airs on BBC One on November 2.
