Both Mick and Whitney Carter need a lot of support right now in EastEnders and, following on from the kiss they shared at the hospital, things may be set to develop further as Whitney proves a valuable lifeline.
Mick starts the week in a positive mood as he thinks he can find the money to pay Konrad for the roof after reporting Aunt Babe’s disappearance to the police means he has less of a fine to pay.
But his good mood doesn’t last long when further bad news hits him. Nevertheless, he has to pull himself together to run the Queen Vic pancake race and he is impressed as Whitney helps to organise a successful day.
Later, Mick realises that his only chance of raising the cash that he needs is to apply for a bank loan after some words of advice from Shirley. But Shirley is put out when Mick later tells her that it’s Whitney that he wants to support him at the meeting with the bank’s employee.
Getting suited up, Mick braces himself for the important meeting with Whitney at his side but will they get the answer that they desperately need?
And will working together to try and save the business and their home bring Mick and Whitney even closer together?
One to watch: Friday 3rd March at 8pm on BBC One.
