Drake has called out fellow rapper Kanye West for ‘publicly sh**ting on him’ in a Beats 1 radio interview on OVO Sound Radio.
Not literally, of course.
The Canadian rapper revealed in a chat with DJ Semtex that he had been working on a track with Kanye and Jay Z on his Views album, but when he dropped their guest spot on the single, the Life Of Pablo artist wasn’t impressed.
Describing the 39-year-old’s reaction to getting dropped off the album, he said: ‘I know he was really upset because at that time we were working together pretty heavy and he really wanted to be on the record but you know.’
Drake also addressed some comments made by the Yeezy fashion designer back in November 2016, during a mid-concert (Kanye style) rant, a rant in which he appeared to suggest that Drake and DJ Khaled’s song For Free had been over-played on the radio.
The 30-year-old explained: ‘I don’t know, I think everybody has their own little things going on, I’m not really sure what he’s referring to half the time, because in the same breath, I went from being… like working on a project with him, to him sorta publicly sh*tting on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much.’
Drizzy also added that situations like this made him want to keep to himself more and more.
He went on and said: ‘You know the more and more this progresses, the more and more I just feel like keeping to myself, because it’s just so unpredictable, you never know which way people are gonna go.’
Reps for Kanye and Drake have been contacted for comment by Metro.co.uk.
