Danny Dyer has allegedly managed to patch things up with estranged wife Joanne, but she has some condition for the TV hardman: he needs to start washing his own pants.
The pair had split earlier this year amid claims of infidelity, but sources claim they are now on speaking terms.
While Danny is still apparently living in a rented flat near the EastEnders studio in Elstree, a source told The Mirror that the pair are well on the way to mending their relationship.
‘Danny is still living in the new flat but relations with Jo have improved a lot,’ the source told the publication.
‘They both came together for their daughter Dani’s 21st birthday and had a great time. They are working things out.’
Danny and Joanne had been together for over 20 years after meeting at age 14, but earlier this year rumours of affairs hit their relationship.
Dyer supposedly had a ‘six week fling’ with Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding during the filming of 2012 comedy Run For Your Wife.
Earlier this year he was forced to take a break from filming EastEnders in order to ‘sort his personal life out’.
While it seems Joanne and Danny are attempting to patch things up, she apparently has a list of conditions to the reunion, which includes – gasp! – doing his own washing. Way harsh.
It may sound like a small price to pay for getting back with the love of your life, but 40-year-old Danny admitted in his book Life Lessons from the East End that he does not know how to do washing.
‘I still can’t turn a washing machine on,’ he wrote. ‘Joanne washes all my dirty pants.’ Romance, guys – it’s not dead.
The pair only married last year but Danny is reportedly hoping Joanne will be willing to renew their vows next month. Let’s hope he works out how to wash his suit by then.
