Corey Feldman has insisted he will release an audio recording of a police interview he took part in, in which the star accuses famous Hollywood figures of abusing him.

The former child actor claims to have been a victim of molestation in the 1980s and has dug out the recording of an interview by police in 1993 about the scandal.

He wrote a dramatic outburst surrounding the news on Twitter.

Corey is responding to claims from Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office that they have located a copy of his 1993 interview.

The interview was originally conducted as part of an investigation into sexual abuse allegations made against Michael Jackson.

The police had previously claimed the tape had never existed, however Corey revealed he had provided police with the names of the men who abused him.

Having originally ignored Corey’s revelation, Sheriff’s Office rep Kelly Hoover said: ‘Following the recent inquiries into the Sheriff’s Office interview of Mr. Feldman in 1993, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office conducted an additional review for any stored items remaining from the Michael Jackson investigation.

‘In a container which included the original reports from the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office located some detective working copies of audio recordings made during the investigation. A copy of Mr. Feldman’s interview was located.’

‘The recording is being turned over to the Los Angeles Police Department,’ they added.

‘Due to the fact that this case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a child, we are unable to comment further and any documentation or evidence related to this case is exempt from release’.

It isn’t clear whether Corey’s accusations against Hollywood actors will lead to the case being reopened.

Corey Feldman has previously claimed former actor Jon Grissom sexually molested him as a child.

The Goonies actor recently vowed to expose paedophilia in Hollywood, and after previously detailing in his 2013 autobiography Coreyography the abuse he allegedly received – using a pseudonym for the man involves  he has now named his License To Drive and Dream A Little Dream co-star as the person who allegedly attacked him.

Speaking on The Dr Oz Show as Dr Mehmet Oz held up a photo of Grissom, Corey said: ‘That is him. That’s the guy.’

Jon – whose name is often misspelled as John and whose legal moniker is Cloyde Jon Grissom – has not commented on the claims.
