TV personality Karren Brady may have cemented herself as a force to be reckoned with in The Apprentice, but her daughter Sophia Peschisolido is causing quite a stir in her own way.
Sophia, 20, the daughter of Baroness Brady and Canadian footballer Paul Peschisolido, was shown off by her proud mum on social media this weekend.
The West Ham United chairman, 48, took to Twitter to reveal the news that Sophia had become a Topshop model and shared a snap of the 21-year-old.
Karren’s snap showed the Nottingham University undergraduate from the waist-down, walking along a crossing while sporting a denim mini-skirt, a red blazer and a fluffy pink bag.
Her tweet read: ‘So proud of my daughter @SophiaPesch modelling for Topshop on Instagram. she looks AMAZING!’
One user wrote: ‘The joy of being a proud parent well done Sophia My daughter is starting out as New
#youngdesigner with her designs.’
However, not everyone had such kinds words for the fledgling model, with Daily Telegraph Retail Editor Ashley Armstrong saying: ‘I wonder how she got the job? Karren Brady – new chairman of Arcadia.’
And Karren was every inch the defensive mum in her response.
She tweeted back: ‘What a horrible thing to imply/ she got it on merit because she is gorgeous& fabulous but mostly because she deserved it.’
Moments later, Karren proudly tweeted another image of Sophia, sporting the caption: ‘My little girl is all grown up.’
According to The Mirror, Sophia is a former shop assistant at Hollister and is currently studying on an undergraduate course at Nottingham University.
Brady became managing director of Birmingham City FC in 1993 when she was just 23.
Karren and Paul also have a son called Paolo together.
